Coventry City’s shirt sales continue to go from strength-to-strength, even after only three days!
More than one month’s worth of Home shirt sales has been matched in the first 2.5 days of sale and both Home and Goalkeeper shirts continue to sell rapidly today.
Make sure you don’t miss out by pre-ordering now at www.ccfcstore.com.
It will also be available in the Club Stores from 12th August 2023.
City’s 23/24 home shirt sees a return to stripes for the Sky Blues.
Working closely with hummel, this season’s home kit takes inspiration from the Club’s famous crest – incorporating different elements of the badge on the front of the shirt.
The elephant, displayed on the crest and also the City’s coat of arms adorns the shirt.
This is alongside the mythical Phoenix bird, a symbol of Coventry’s rise from the ashes of fire and rebuilding after World War II.
The Eagle is also shown and is a symbol from Coventry’s distant past - being the emblem of Lady Godiva's husband, Leofric, Earl of Mercia.
Inside the neck, August’s 140th anniversary of the Club’s formation is marked while the traditional civic crest of the City is shown – which the Club’s players wore on their shirts at the start of the last century.
Coventry City’s new principal partner and front of shirt sponsor King of Shaves is proudly displayed on the front of the shirt too.
Replica shirts will again be available from Infants to 5XL sizes.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“We are delighted with the very strong shirt sales so far for the home kit and goalkeeper kit.
“They have both been very well received and, after excellent sales last campaign, we look set for another brilliant year of shirt sales.
“Our away and third kits will be revealed in the coming weeks, but I would urge fans to make sure they pre-order the home kit now so they don’t miss out on another iconic shirt.”
