Isaac Moore explained how it was a proud moment for him and his family after signing his first professional contract.
The 17 year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Sky Blues, having turned 17 back in April.
Moore was a regular in the development team last season and his performances were rewarded with his first contract.
Reaction to signing first contract…
“I feel really privileged and it’s a really proud moment for me and my family. I’ve been here since I was eleven years old so it’s quite a big achievement.
“It’s really special, it’s what I’ve been working towards my whole life and it’s only the start but it’s nice to see the hard work paying off.”
Sense of pride…
“Being around the first team now and for the club to offer me a three-year deal I’m really proud of everything.
“Playing football is what I love to do and to be able to do that is a dream for me.”
Currently recovering from injury…
“I suffered an ACL injury and I’m currently recovering, and I’m just focusing on getting fit and getting back on the grass.
“I’m three months in so I’m trying to build muscle and get strength back in my leg and then hopefully move on to some more complex stuff later down the line.”
Form before the injury…
“I had a good run of form and playing for the under-21s and hopefully I would’ve been around the first team in pre-season, but hopefully that will happen when I’m back fit, that’s the aim.”
Exciting time at the Club…
“It’s a really exciting time to be at the club at the moment and it’s a great time to be a Coventry City player.
“Some of my mates have been around the first team this season is definitely a boost for me and to see how well they’ve done I’ve been buzzing for them.”
