Coventry City are delighted to announce the signing of Josh Wilson-Esbrand on loan from Manchester City!
The 20-year-old left back joins the Sky Blues from the Premier League side until the end of the 2022/23 season.
London-born Josh joined Manchester City from West Ham’s Academy in 2019 and his move to the Sky Blues is his first loan spell away from the Etihad Stadium.
Wilson-Esbrand made his first-team debut for The Citizens in September 2021 when he started and provided an assist in a 6-1 League Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers, and was praised as he featured on their pre-season tour to the USA in 2022.
This season, alongside appearing the EFL Trophy, he has featured in the comprehensive Champions League wins over FC Copenhagen and Sevilla.
Josh has also been capped at Under 18 and Under 20 levels by England.
