Coventry City will face Norwich City on Saturday afternoon (12:30pm) in the Championship's early kick-off at the Coventry Building Society Arena...
MEET THE CANARIES
David Wagner's stint as Norwich City manager may have started in defeat against Blackburn Rovers but the Canaries bounced back on Saturday to beat Preston North End 4-0.
That win lifted the newly-relegated side to seventh in the standings, two points outside the top six.
Teemu Pukki remains a goal threat and has directly contributed to 16 goals already this season, scoring 10. Only Sheffield United star Iliman Ndiaye has contributed to more.
As a team, Norwich boast an impressive record on the road and will arrive at the Coventry Building Society Arena having taken 20 points from 13 games on the road. The Sky Blues, meanwhile, have taken 22 points from their last 13 home fixtures.
IN THE SKY BLUES CAMP
Looking ahead to the weekend, Mark Robins has said:
"Norwich are another side who like to be in possession. They’re a good side with lots of Premier League experience.
“They’re a well-respected and well-run club packed with top international players. They have Pukki, Sargent and Dowell, who chip in with goals.
“They pin you in and try to stay high up the field and after getting a reaction in David Wagner’s first game, they’ll be confident.
“He’s been promoted himself in the past and he has a way of working that he’ll stick to. For us, it’s about what we can do to affect the game. We need to perform to a high level and then take our chances.”
OPPOSITION VERDICT
David Wagner said: "I saw a good game (Last week against Preston), but it was only one game. I felt relief after four or five weeks without a win. The lads needed it.
"We were the ones who were aggressive, showed the intensity and the energy that are crucial in our game. This is what I expect. We have more than 2,500 away supporters on Saturday again, and the energy they provide us, I hope our performance is on that level again."
