Tom Nield will be the man in the middle of Saturday's FA Cup Third Round clash with Wrexham at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The Sky Blues will go toe-to-toe with the Red Dragons in our first FA Cup fixture of the 2022/23 season, and our first Cup clash of 2023.
Nield has been tasked with refereeing the fixture, his first Coventry match since the Club's 2-1 defeat against Shrewsbury Town back in 2019.
He also took charge of City's defeat over Shrewsbury in 2017, and a win over Cambridge United from the same season.
Nield last officiated over a competitive Wrexham fixture back in 2016.
The referee will be supported by assistant officials Abbas Khan and Hristo Karaivanov. His fourth official will be Ross Joyce.
