The Sky Blues have a number of young players out on loan...

Here's how our brightest young stars performed at their loan clubs over the festive period:

Young midfielder Marco Rus has continued to thrive on loan at Hereford, after scoring his first professional goal last month.

Rus, who has now spent a month with the Herefordshire outfit alongside Sky Blues U21s teammate Ricardo Dinanga, featured for the Bulls on both Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Meanwhile, Harrison Nee and Dermi Lusala both impressed while on loan with Leicestershire side Barwell.

Nee played three times for Barwell over the festive period, with Lusala featuring twice.

Sky Blues goalkeeper Luke Bell was between the posts for Slimbridge on Boxing Day, with his side beaten 3-1 by Bishops Cleeve FC.

The youngster was called upon repeatedly throughout the 90 minutes until, despite his best efforts, his side concede three late goals.

Elsewhere, fellow City shot-stopper Tom Billson has returned to the club following a successful loan stay at Kidderminster Harries.

The loan move helped the youngster gain yet more senior football experience.

George Burroughs and Abel Alabi have also returned to the club, from their loan spells with Telford and Tamworth, respectively.

Danny Cashman (Walsall), Julien Dacosta (Shrewsbury Town) and Jay McGrath (Alfreton Town) are all continuing their development with their loan clubs.
