Sky Blues defender Julien Dacosta made his debut for loan club Nancy on Saturday, helping them to a 1-0 win over Lens.
The full-back was one of six City stars to take to the field for their loan Clubs over the weekend.
Dacosta was introduced as a second-half substitute and helped to see the game out for Nancy, who took the lead early on.
His cameo saw him return to the field for the first time since he picked up an injury in action for Shrewsbury Town in January.
There was also a debut outing for young defender Josh Reid, who played 90 minutes for League Two outfit Stevenage.
The left-back was unable to prevent his loan Club from falling to a 2-0 defeat but clocked some valuable minutes in the EFL.
Here's how the rest of our out-on-loan stars got on this weekend:
Young defender Blaine Rowe helped Falkirk to continue their late charge for the Scottish League One title with a win over Alloa Athletic.
Rowe has played every single minute since arriving in Scotland and counts seven victories in just eight games.
The result, and clean sheet, saw Falkirk move to within five points of league leaders Dunfermline.
There was also a Saturday clean sheet for teenager Riccardo Di Triolio, who arrived at the Sky Blues in January before returning to St Albans City on loan.
St Albans drew 0-0 with Weymouth to keep their promotion hopes alive, with their sights set on booking a place in the National League next season.
Elsewhere in non-league, it was a winning weekend for Danny Cashman, who helped Altrincham to bounce back from a midweek defeat to beat Woking 3-1.
Cashman was on the field for 56 minutes, adding to the 74 minutes he clocked for Alty during the week.
Martyn Waghorn was also in action this weekend, helping Huddersfield Town to a 2-1 win over Birmingham City.
Waghorn was introduced just after the hour mark and helped his side to see out the victory.
Meanwhile, neither Todd Kane (Charlton) nor Jay McGrath (St Patrick's Athletic) were in action.
