Martyn Waghorn, Danny Cashman, Riccardo Di Trolio and Blaine Rowe were all in action for their loan sides this weekend, with Rowe named in the final SPFL Team of the Week of January.

The young defender has already established himself as a regular at Falkirk thanks to a string of golden performances, and helped his side to a sixth consecutive win in all competitions with their 2-1 win over Kelty Hearts.

The Bairns are now second in Scottish League One, five points behind league leaders Dunfermline.

Elsewhere, striker Martyn Waghorn scored his first goal for Huddersfield Town this weekend.

The 33-year-old striker found an equaliser for the Terriers against QPR when he forced home from close range at in West Yorkshire.

The goal was his first since firing home a last-gasp penalty for the Sky Blues against Sheffield United earlier this season.

Young defender Riccardo Di Trolio also played 90 minutes for St Albans City, helping them to a 2-1 win over Hampton and Richmond Borough.

The result lifted St Albans to sixth in the National League South, where they remain well in the race for promotion.

There was also a first for Danny Cashman, who made his first appearance for National League outfit Altrincham.

Cashman played 90 minutes for the Robins but was unable to prevent them from falling to a 2-1 defeat against promotion-chasers Wrexham.

Josh Reid (Stevenage), Todd Kane (Charlton) and Julien Dacosta (AS Nancy) did not feature this weekend.
