Four of the Sky Blues' seven loan stars were in action over the weekend, including youngsters Danny Cashman, Blaine Rowe and Riccardo Di Trolio.

Blaine Rowe continued his impressive loan stay with Scottish side Falkirk by helping them to an emphatic 5-1 win over Cup giant-killers Darvel, to set up a Scottish Cup quarterfinal clash with Ayr United.

Darvel defeated Aberdeen earlier in the competition, making international headlines, but were no match for Rowe and Falkirk with the Sky Blues youngster playing all 90 minutes.

Danny Cashman also helped to secure Cup progression for his loan club Altrincham.

The attacking player played 90 minutes in the Number 10 role during the non-league side's 3-1 FA Trophy win over Bracknell Town.

January signing Riccardo Di Trolio was also in action for St Albans City this weekend, once again playing an entire 90 minutes for the National League South side.

St Albans came out winners following an epic battle that ended 5-4, their third win in four games.

Martyn Waghorn was also in action for Huddersfield Town but was unable to prevent the Terrier falling to a 1-0 defeat against Wigan Athletic.

The striker played 61 minutes of the Championship clash.

Elsewhere, Josh Reid was an unnamed substitute for Stevenage while Julien Dacosta (AS Nancy) and Todd Kane (Charlton Athletic) both remain sidelined.
