Coventry City Season Ticket and Premium Membership holders will receive an e-ticket for the first home game of the season against Middlesbrough.
Following the late finish to the 22/23 season and due to the huge support and increased season sales, we cannot guarantee that all fans would have their new season card in time for the first home fixture.
To avoid any confusion, or cards not arriving in time, we will instead provide all 23/24 Season Ticket and Premium Membership holders with an e-ticket for the Middlesbrough game on Saturday 12th August. This means that all Season Ticket holders will enter the game using the same method.
Season cards will be then be sent out ahead of the Sunderland game on Saturday 26th August, from Monday 14th August onwards.
E-tickets will be sent out on Thursday next week (10th August) to the email address provided by each supporter to the Football Club. Fans will be able to scan their e-ticket from their smartphone or print their ticket out instead.
Doug King, Executive Chairman and Owner, said:
“Following the surge in Season Tickets this Summer, and also the shorter off-season we have had, we will delay sending out Cards until later in August.
“This means that all supporters will receive cards for the same match, rather than having a situation where some may have received cards in time for the first game and others wouldn’t.
“The increase in Season Ticket holders is fantastic for the Club and will be a real lift to everyone on matchdays and also increases our revenue. By issuing e-tickets for the first game, we are making sure that day will go as smoothly as possible for everyone.”
