INFO: Supporter advice ahead of tonight's trip to AFC Wimbledon

9 August 2023

AFC Wimbledon have provided the following supporter information for Sky Blues fans ahead of tonight's trip to the Cherry Red Records Stadium - please note that our allocation is sold-out and there is no availability on the night:

Fans are warned about the lack of parking. The best option is the car park at Centre Court, in Wimbledon town centre, which is 1.3 miles from the stadium and 1.5 miles from the away end. The 493 bus covers this route. The closest stop to the car park is in Alexandra Road outside Barclays Bank. There is a bus stop immediately outside the stadium at the home end.

Local street parking is very limited with Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs). Plough Lane stadium is on the border between two London boroughs. There will be Event Day parking restrictions in Wandsworth. Restrictions will be in operation in Merton which also has CPZs. It is not advisable to park in the Lidl car park opposite the ground where there are timed parking restrictions and number plate recognition systems.

Arrival on public transport is recommended. Check bus and Underground routes and timetables on the TfL journey planner at

The ticket office for away supporters is adjacent to Gate 6 where tickets for collection will be available. The away turnstiles are at Gate 7.

The postcode for the away end is SW17 0BA. This is at the Garratt Lane end of the stadium, meaning that the closest Underground station is Tooting Broadway on the Northern line. If needed there are regular buses along Garratt Lane. From the opposite direction the British Rail station is Earlsfield, Other British Rail stations are Wimbledon and Clapham Junction which are both served by multiple bus routes, some of which go down Garratt Lane. The closest bus stop is Summerstown.

Thameslink services from Kings Cross/St Pancras or Blackfriars go to Haydons Road.

The designated away pub is The Woodman on Durnsford Road, just down Arthur Road from Wimbledon Park underground station on the District line. Alternatively, The Earlsfield is beneath Earlsfield station. Other local pubs operate a ticket check on their doors, admitting home supporters only.

Anyone using the Northern line to Tooting Broadway will find plenty of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. There are multiple curry houses which are great value and very high quality.

Closer to the stadium on Plough Lane there is a new Starbucks adjacent to a newly opened Greggs. Of course there is food and drink within the away end. A match programme will be available - the price is £3.

No musical instruments (eg. drums or trumpets) are allowed at Plough Lane.

Remember that kick off is scheduled for 7.45pm.

For fans who are not attending the game tonight, the match is not available on iFollow.
