Athletes, coaches and volunteers from Team Coventry who will be at the International Children's Games will be in attendance on Saturday as the Sky Blues face Reading.
It's a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 22nd April as the Sky Blues host Reading at the Coventry Building Society Arena in the Sky Bet Championship.
You will see some of 'Team Coventry' shaking the giant crest flag on the pitch before the game.
The group will once again take part in the International Children’s Games (ICG) this summer – with 18 lucky athletes travelling to South Korea in July to compete at the 55th ICG.
After the Games being held in Coventry last year, this time the city of Daegu takes the honour as host city.
A mix of male and female athletes will make up Team Coventry and are competing in Athletics, Swimming and Table Tennis.
The 18 young people, aged 12-15 years, will be representing Coventry on the international stage and were selected after some intense try-out events in their respective sports.
Team Coventry is looking for local support – so if you or your organisation would like to know more about supporting in any way, please email covsport@coventry.gov.uk.
