NEWS: 22/23 End of Season Awards winners announced!

The winners from the End of Season Awards dinner...

The winners of the 22/23 End of Season Awards have been announced at tonight's awards evening at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Gustavo Hamer won the Player of the Year Award, voted by the fans and sponsored by Reach Consultancy, for the second consecutive season

It was double for the midfielder, as his superb solo goal at Stoke City also won the Goal of the Season vote, with the award sponsored by Genesis Employment.

Viktor Gyokeres won the Players' Player of the Year award, sponsored by Richard Overson.

The Swedish striker also scooped the Top Goalscorer prize, sponsored by Shortland Horne.

Kyle McFadzean won Community Player of the Year, sponsored by Sytner BMW Coventry. He also won the PFA Community Player award from Sky Blues in the Community.

Goalkeeper Ben Wilson won a special recognition award, sponsored by Certify my Tech, having broken the club record for number of clean sheets in a season.

Sponsored by XL Motors, the prize for Young Player of the Year, for a City player aged Under 23 and decided by the coaching staff, was given to Callum Doyle.

The Development Squad Player of the Year was won by young midfielder Marco Rus.

The JSB Player of the Year, sponsored by Purple Planet Packaging, was won by Gustavo Hamer, while Viktor Gyokeres was the winner of the Family Zone Player of the Year.

The Michelle Ridley Award, in memory of our colleague who passed away in 2012 and awarded to a long-serving and dedicated member of staff, was presented to Mike Reid, our Head of Football Operations.
