We headed back out onto Pitch 2 at Ryton to take a look at the latest progress of the refurbishment work.
The continuing work on Pitch 2 now sees tonnes of gravel and sand being spread across the surface, building up the level of the pitch.
The newly installed drainage and sprinkler system is now covered by the sand and gravel, while new fencing posts are now in place around the pitch.
