Renovations of the pitches at Ryton has hit the four week mark, with Pitch 2 being transformed.
Extensive work and investment is planned for all of the pitches at the site, with both pitches and also warm-up areas being totally reconstructed for the 2023/24 season - click here for details.
Fans can see from our latest photos, taken on 4th April - four weeks on from the first machinery entering the site - that work is continuing at pace.
With pipe for sprinklers and drainage systems on pitch 2 largely in place, gravel and sand is now being delivered and put on the pitch to build the level of the surface up.
Meanwhile, the new fencing which will surround the pitches at Ryton is now running the length of Pitch 2.
You can also see the contrast between the two pitches currently - with Pitch 1 and the training grids continuing to be used by the Sky Blues as they continue training in the 2022/23 campaign in these areas.
