Coventry City are delighted to announce that Jamie Allen has signed a new contract with the Club.

The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Sky Blues until June 2025.

Allen joined City in June 2019 from Burton Albion, having previously played over 150 times for local side Rochdale.

Jamie has now played 116 games for Coventry City, scoring 10 goals – with 7 of those coming this season – while he has also captained the side on a number of occasions.

He was part of the Sky Blues side that won the League One title and promotion to the Championship in 2019/20.

Manager Mark Robins said:

“We’re delighted that Jamie has signed a new contract with the Club.

“He is a player who has a lot of key attributes for us, especially in his work rate and technical ability, and a terrific attitude too.

“He’s played a number of roles in the centre of midfield for us and also captained the Club, so we’re very pleased to continue to work with him.”
