On 31 October 1999, the Sky Blues stormed to a 4-0 win over Watford at Highfield Road in the Premier League.

Robbie Keane handed City the lead after 17 minutes with a thunderous volley ahead of the West Terrace, before Steve Froggatt skipped challenges and finished to hand his side a two-goal lead at the break.

Mustapha Hadji made sure of the win shortly after the break when he fired in off the crossbar to make it 3-0.

Gary McAllister put the icing on the cake late on, scoring City's fourth, with a perfectly-placed penalty kick.
