Opposition:

Millwall have started their Professional Development League campaign with four straight wins, putting them top of the League's southern section.

Their season started with a narrow win over Hull City on Humberside, before comfortable triumphs over Barnsley (4-0), Birmingham City (4-1) and Peterborough United (5-1).

Abdul Abdulmalik has started the season in fine form, scoring five goals in his last three games, while striker Tom Leahy has also proven to be a threat.

Defensivley, Millwall have been solid and have leaked just two goals from their opening four games. Hayden Muller has been central to their defensive success, playing each and every fixture.

Opposition coach: Kevin Nugent

Kevin Nugent turned out for Plymouth Argyle, Leyton Orient, Bristol City, Swansea City and Cardiff City as a player during the nineties and noughties - but his coaching career began in 2007 as assistant manager at Swansea.

From there, Nugent has held coaching positions at Leyton Orient (at youth and senior level), Luton Town and Charlton before landing the role of first team boss at London club Barnet.

However, his stint at Barnet lasted just 11 games, after which he was appointed as Millwall U21s boss, where he has remained since 2017.

Millwall's results so far this term:

Hull City U21 0-1 Millwall U21

Millwall U21 4-0 Barnsley U21

Birmingham City U21 4-1 Millwall U21

Millwall U21 5-1 Peterborough United U21
