Bedworth and Nuneaton Supporters Club held their first meeting of the new season on Tuesday night!
The event marked the full return of Sky Blues players to Supporters Clubs meetings, following the relaxation of precautions around Covid.
Viktor Gyokeres, Gustavo Hamer and Ben Sheaf were all in attendance at Bedworth Liberal Club, with around 150 members of the Supporters Club at the event.
Players had a Q&A, with some insights and humourous stories shared by the three with fans, who also got chance to have their photo taken with the City stars afterwards too.
There was also a quiz for members and a fundraising raffle to raise money for the Supporters Club, while the Sky Blues’ Supporter Services Officer Jodie Jones also attended.
Dave Boddy, Chief Executive at Coventry City, said:
“It was great to have players back out and attending the Bedworth and Nuneaton Supporters Club on Tuesday.
“The interaction between players and fans has been a huge part of the success of the Football Club over recent years, so to get players back again at Supporters Clubs after nearly two and a half years is really important.
“Now that Covid precautions at the Club have been able to relax as of the start of this season, we will be able to get the players back out in the community at Supporters Clubs and schools etc again and this is something we’re looking forward to.”
