Kyle McFadzean reflects on Norwich City defeat…

Sky Blues defender Kyle McFadzean has branded his side’s defeat against Norwich City as “disappointing”.

The Sky Blues were beaten 3-0 at Carrow Road with the Canaries moving top of the table.

“It’s disappointing, we’ve shot ourselves in the foot by giving stupid balls away, we’ve got to deal with it better,” he said.

“I thought we were in the game but then we’ve caused ourselves problems and went 1-0 down and then conceded again just before the break and that didn’t help one bit.

“It’s a kick in the teeth because if we go in 1-0 down, we come out second half at them and the keeper made a good save from Vik, so if we score we’re back in it.”

After a few tough results to start the campaign, McFadzean has emphasised the importance of sticking together ahead of a long season.

“We’re not going to stop the way we’re playing, we’re only five games in and Forest were bottom of the league this time last year having not won a game, so we’re a point better off.

“We’ve got to stick together, there’s 41 games left and we’ve had a tough start but we’ve not really got going and we can blame each other but we need to stick together.

“It’s disappointing because the fans travelled in good numbers as always, we need to bounce back quick because we’ve got three more games before the International break.”
