The Sky Blues are back at the Coventry Building Society Arena to face The Blades in a Sky Bet Championship fixture. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the opponents...
After disappointment in the Play-Off Semi-Final's last season, Sheffield United currently sit 2nd in the Championship, level on points with league leaders Burnley.
Entering their second season back in England's second tier, the Blades have started the season with seven wins from their opening 14 fixtures.
Blades boss Heckingbottom has kept the majority of the side that finished in the Play-Offs last season, with Morgan Gibbs-White ending his loan spell the only major loss from his side.
United have added the likes of Ciaran Clark, Tommy Doyle and James McAtee to their ranks on loan, alongside their only permanent deal which saw Anel Ahmedhodžić join from Malmo.
Mark Robins on Sheffield United:
"We’re back at home now as we prepare for six of our next eight games being here at the Arena and in front of our own supporters.
"We’re facing a Sheffield United side who have quality and experience in their team and are near the top of the table and we’re expecting a really good contest.
"We can take confidence from our recent performances and the knowledge that we are a good andimproving team, and this is a match that we are looking forward to."
Paul Heckingbottom's thoughts:
"We have to learn from [the Blackpool game]. Everything we showed at 3-2, we need to show again. We were a little bit slack and a little bit wasteful.
"We need to be stronger in our duels at Coventry City, if we want to win there. That is the message [for my players] as we prepare for that [game].
"We cannot be out-competed and we cannot be out-fought or Coventry will do us."
Coventry City wins: 23
Sheffield United wins: 23
Sheffield United's last six:
Sheffield United 3-3 Blackpool
Stoke City 3-1 Sheffield United
Sheffield United 0-1 Queens Park Rangers
Sheffield United 1-1 Birmingham City
Preston North End 0-2 Sheffield United
Swansea City 0-1 Sheffield United
