NEWS: Join in the Family Zone activities as we play QPR on Saturday!

10 November 2022

Young Sky Blues fans can join in the Family Zone activities this weekend as we face Queens Park Rangers.

It is our Remembrance fixture as Coventry City host QPR on Saturday 12th November, with a 3pm kick-off at the Coventry Building Society Arena for the Sky Bet Championship clash, which is our final fixture before the World Cup break.

The pre-match Family Zone takes place in the concourse under Blocks 32-33, from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.

There’s free pop and crisps available for young fans who are registered with the Family Zone – available on first come first served basis, just exchange the token you will be given on Saturday to get yours! This is sponsored by Jason Stuart.

We’ve also got the 20p lollipop lucky dip taking place (cash only), with advent calendars and chocolate reindeers up for grabs – thank you to Eric Whiting for sponsoring this.

We’ll also be supporting Central Galaxy Coventry trampoline club, who are raising funds to enable them to build their own gym in the city. Lilly, Eyvie and Harlow Jones, Season Ticket holders at the Sky Blues, have been busy making keyrings, bracelets and Christmas decorations that you can buy, with all money going to the fundraising for the trampoline club, while club sponsorship and prize draw tickets are also available too.

There’s a variety of arts and crafts to take part in as well, so young Sky Blues fans can get creative pre-match!

The Dugout Draw is taking place, giving one lucky winner the chance to watch the Sky Blue warm up from pitchside – the draw will take place at 2:15pm, so make sure you’ve entered by then! The Dugout Draw is sponsored by the Bedworth and Nuneaton Supporters Club and the ‘Class of 87’.

A new feature for this season is the pen pal campaign with the Uganda Supporters Club, allowing young Sky Blues fans to write to youngsters that are following the Club in Uganda.

There are also a variety of table games to take part in as well, as well as the chance to show off your FIFA 23 skills plus the table football is back and available to play on again!

The tuck shop has been stocked up again, with food and drink available to purchase (cash only).

Hugely popular, there are even more free past programmes for you to grab as well – but make sure you’re quick because, as always, they are expected to go really quickly!

Sky Blue Sam will be in attendance too, so make sure you get your high fives and photos with our ever-popular mascot before the World Cup break. He will also be handing out first time fan certificates too!

Fans can also write to our mascot and also the CCFC squad with Sky Blue Sam’s Post Box – with a number of replies from players ready to collect!

Fans can begin to register their attendance at the Family Zone and will be able to get rewards later in the season for coming to the Family Zone regularly.

So make sure you visit the Family Zone on Saturday against Queens Park Rangers and join in the fun – we look forward to seeing you then!
