Elsewhere, there was also a victory to celebrate from both Dermi Lusala and Harrison Nee as their Barwell debuts ended with a 1-0 win over Stourbridge.

Lusala, who joined the Sky Blues from Tottenham Hotspur, played the entire 90 minutes while Nee clocked a crucial 74 minutes on his loan debut.

Tom Billson was not so lucky with his loan, Kidderminster Harriers, falling to a narrow National League defeat against Gloucester City. Billson made a number of strong saves but was unable to prevent the 1-0 loss.

Ricardo Dinanga also made his loan debut for Hereford FC in a game that ended in a 2-1 defeat. Dinanga was introduced in the 71st minute, with his side already trailing and heading for defeat.

Meanwhile, Luke Bell made his debut for Slimbridge AFC as they were beaten 1-0 by Westbury United.

Elsewhere, Jay McGrath, Abel Alabi and Julien Dacosta did not feature for Tamworth, Alfreton Town or Shrewsbury Town, respectively, while George Burroughs was an unused substitute for AFC Telford United.
