GALLERY: Sky Blues Season Review - November

A look back at the month of November...

17 May 2022

Following the end of the 2021/22 season we take a look back at each month in photos...

The month started with a first taste of defeat at home, as the Sky Blues saw their seven game run come to an end at the hands of Swansea City in a 2-1 defeat.

However, that was quickly followed-up by one of the games of the season when City came from behind with ten-men to beat Bristol City 3-2.

The Sky Blues were reduced to ten just before half-time when Ian Maatsen was shown red, with the visitors being awarded a spot-kick, which they ultimately scored.

City came out fighting and were rewarded with their own spot-kick, which Matty Godden fired home to draw the game level.

The Robins retook the lead again, but Mark Robins side battled back to draw level through Callum O'Hare's first goal of the season.

Then, with seconds left on the clock, Matty Godden stepped up to score his second of the game and secure all three points.

Two 0-0 draws followed against Sheffield United and Birmingham City, before the month ended at the Vitality Stadium under more drama.

City were 2-0 down heading into the final five minutes and their character shone through again as goals from Godden and a last minue leveller from Todd Kane saw City earn a point on the road.
