The EFL have confirmed that Peter Bankes will oversee this weekend's clash with Blackburn Rovers.
Mark Robins’ side take on Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship at the Coventry Building Society Arena, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00pm.
It will be the first time that Bankes has taken charge of a game involving the Sky Blues this season, with his last outing coming in City's 1-0 win over MK Dons in the FA Cup Fourth Round in 2018.
This year will mark Peter's ninth season as a referee in the Football League and over that period he has officiated three Sky Blues fixtures
This season so far, Bankes has awarded 84 yellow cards and two red cards in the 21 games he has officiated across the Premier League, Europa Conference League, Championship, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
Bankes will be assisted by Nick Hopton and Akil Howson whilst Andy Woolmer will act as the fourth official.
