Coventry City have appointed Bryn Meredith as the Club’s new Head of Stewarding.
Bryn has worked for the Sky Blues as part of the matchday stewarding operation for over 20 years, including at Highfield Road and the Coventry Building Society Arena, and will be a familiar face for many supporters.
A lifelong Sky Blues fan, Bryn has previously served in the Royal Artillery and has worked for the Crown Prosecution Service.
In the new full-time role, which starts this week, Bryn will be responsible for the stewarding operation for the Club, working alongside the Safety Officer at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Dave Boddy, Chief Executive at Coventry City, said:
“We’re pleased to welcome Bryn to the Club in this new full-time role.
“Bryn brings great pedigree to the position through his experience at the Club on matchdays and his background.
“We want to improve the stewarding operation, both for supporters and for stewards themselves, and Bryn will lead this work for us.”
Bryn Meredith said:
“I am delighted to join the Club on a full-time basis.
“I’m a lifelong Sky Blues fan and have been part of the stewarding operation for a number of years, and I’m looking forward to beginning this role and improving the experience for fans.”
