Julien Dacosta and Marcel Hilssner both started for their loan sides, as they got some minutes in the tank this past weekend.

Julien played for 71 minutes as Portimonese SC narrowly missed out on an upset, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Benfica, despite leading early on in the game.

The former Primeira Liga champions ultimately came from behind and came away with the three points, leaving Portimonese in 9th.

In Germany, Marcel started the game from the off and got 55 minutes under his belt in the 3. Liga.

FC Zwickau lost 1-0 away from home to Freiburg ll after an early goal for the hosts proved to be the difference.

To the Scottish Premiership and Ross County continued their run of form as they beat St Mirren 1-0 to move within touching distance of 4th placed Hibernian.

Declan Drysdale came off the bench in the 84th minute to help Ross County see out the game and ensure the points would be heading to County. Jack Burroughs was an unused substitute in the game.

Elsewhere, in League One and Portsmouth reduced the deficit between themselves and the play-off places as they beat Accrington Stanley 4-0 at Fratton Park.

Tyler Walker came off the bench in the 73rd minute of the game, as Pompey closed the gap on themselves and the top six.

Finally, Danny Cashman was an unused substitute for Rochdale and Blaine Rowe and Josh Pask both missed their sides fixtures due to injury.
