Sky Blues in the Community are recruiting for the role of Mental Health Co-Ordinator.
The post holder will support SBitC to deliver our mental health work across Coventry and Warwickshire.
SBitC currently deliver sessions for men (MENtalk) and women (WOMENtalk) with mental health problems, as well as a programme for adults living with dementia (DEMENTIA Active).
The post holder will support in the triage and follow-up of referrals, as well as the planning and delivery of mental wellbeing interventions that include mental wellbeing courses, 1-2-1 support, and physical activity support networks.
SBitC are passionate about providing mental health support to the entire community and thus the post holder will be required to support with the creation and delivery of future mental health projects, which may include work in primary schools.
The post holder will lead the delivery of mental health workshops and assist in the delivery of a range of physical activities, as part of an ongoing maintenance and resilience building programme.
This role will require a dynamic facilitator and effective organiser who has experience of working with adults and young people living with mental health conditions, both in an individual and group setting.
The post holder will need to show initiative and be able to develop a programme of work.
This post is a varied position, which will involve relationship building, direct delivery of courses and 1-2-1 sessions, supporting physical activity programmes and evaluating the success of this intervention in improving the lives of the adults and young people it supports.
