Coventry City will be remembering fans who have recently passed away when we play Rotherham United at the first home game of the season.
The game versus Rotherham United on Sunday 7th August (3pm KO) at the Coventry Building Society Arena has been designated for tributes to be paid.
The last tribute game was against Preston North End in February.
Fans who wish to remember a Sky Blues supporter who has passed away recently are asked to e-mail the name of the supporter, along with an image if they wish, to:
Names and photos will be shown on the scoreboard at half-time, while names will also feature in the matchday programme.
To ensure these can be displayed on the screen and in the programme, supporters are required to send these to us by 5pm on Tuesday 2nd August. Any submissions after this time unfortunately cannot be included.
Club Chaplain Kieran Joseph will lead a short service in the memorial garden on the day from 1:30pm which will remember those that we have lost, and family and friends are invited to join.
While any tributes to former players and staff will continue to take place at games where necessary, tributes to fans who are sadly no longer with us will largely be focused around these designated memorial fixtures rather than being match-by-match.
