The Sky Blues came away from the Weston Homes Stadium with all three points after a dominant performance against Peterborough.
Gustavo Hamer got the goal-scoring underway early on in the first half, with a thunderous effort from 30 yards-out.
That lead was quickly doubled by Matty Godden's 9th of the season, before Posh pulled one back before half-time.
After the break, City continued to dominate and they were rewarded when Nathan Thompson put through his own net and the Godden grabbed his second of the game in injury time.
