OFFICIALS: Referee Watch versus Bristol City

The EFL have confirmed Dean Whitestone as the referee for Tuesday night's trip to Bristol City.

Whitestone refereed his first Football League game in 2005 at Notts County.

He has since gone on to referee over 400 EFL games across all divisions, including acting as Fourth Official for the Checkatrade Trophy Final at Wembley when the Sky Blues beat Oxford in 2017.

It will be the thir time that Whitestone has taken charge of a game involving the Sky Blues this season, after he officiating in the away game against Queens Park Rangers and the home league game with Derby County.

25 games have seen Mr Whitestone referee the Sky Blues, in which City have a record of:

Wins – 11
Draws – 8
Defeats – 6

So far this season Whitestone has handed out 60 yellow cards and 1 red card in the 21 games he has officiated in the Championship this campaign.

Nik Barnard and Daniel Leach are the assistant referees on Tuesday night, while the Fourth Official is Andy Woolmer.
