LOAN WATCH: Sky Blues Loanee Update

14 February 2022

Some of the Sky Blues players currently out on loan were in action last week and here’s a look at how they fared for their loan sides.

Tyler Walker started from the off for Portsmouth, as they recorded a 4-0 win over Doncaster Rovers at Fratton Park.

Walker played 67 minutes, before being withdrawn, with the score at 3-0 before he was substituted in the League One fixture.

In League Two and Josh Pask got 90 minutes under his belt once again, as he started for Newport County in their clash with Oldham Athletic.

Newport could only manage to secure a point against the Latics in a thrilling 3-3 encounter at Rodney Parade.

To Scotland and Blaine Rowe managed to get a few more first team minutes for Ayr United, as they beat Kilmarnock 2-1 in Championship action.

Rowe was introduced into the game after the 88th minute, as he helped Ayr see out their win and pick up three points away from home.

In Germany, Marcel Hilssner was unable to prevent his loan side FC Zwickau from defeat, as they lost 2-0 away against Hallescher.

Marcel was brought on in the 70th minute with the scores already at 2-0 and his introduction couldn’t help Zwickau get back into the game in 3. Liga.

Elsewhere, Jack Burroughs missed out for Ross County, as he continues to recover from an injury and also Declan Drysdale was an unused substitute in their 1-1 draw with Livingstone.

Julien Dacosta was an unused substitute for Portimonese Sad and Danny Cashman wasn’t involved in Rochdale’s matchday squad.
