LOAN WATCH: Sky Blues Loan Update

Jack Burroughs returned from injury...

28 February 2022

Jack Burroughs made his return to action this weekend, as Ross County moved seven points clear of the relegation play-off places.

Burroughs, who had been missing for the last few weeks, came on in the 78th minute to help Ross County see out their 3-1 win over St Johnstone.

Jack came on with the scores at 3-1 and his cameo appearance proved to be a good one, as St Johnstone were unable to get back into the game.

Declan Drysdale was also involved in the matchday squad in the same fixture, but he was an unused substitute.

In England and in League One, Tyler Walker got another 90 minutes under his belt, as Portsmouth left it late to rescue a point at home to Fleetwood Town.

Pompey were 3-0 down, but a second half fight-back saw Aiden O'Brien strike in the 95th minute to snatch a point at the death.

To Portugal and Julien Dacosta was a 91st minute substitute for Portimonese SC in their 1-1 draw against Vizela this past weekend.

Portimonese took the lead early on, but they were pegged back just before half-time and Julien's introduction in injury time saw the visitors help see out the game and secure a point away from home.

Elsewhere, Josh Pask missed Newport County's 4-2 win against Tranmere Rovers after the defender picked up a hamstring injury which will keep him out for the next six weeks.

Also out on loan, Marcel Hilssner and Danny Cashman weren't in their sides matchday squads and Blaine Rowe was an unused subtitute in Ayr United's 1-0 defeat at home to Queen of the South.
