Blaine Rowe makes Ayr debut...

7 February 2022

Blaine Rowe made his debut for Ayr United last week in their Scottish Championship fixture against Partick Thistle.

Blaine came off the bench midweek away at Partick in the 72nd minute, to make his professional debut in a 1-0 defeat.

The defender was then an unused substitute this past weekend when Ayr drew 1-1 with Dunfermline Athletic.

There was also a debut for Julien Dacosta, who started for Portimonese SAD in their away game to Pacos Ferreira.

Dacosta started the game, before being withdrawn at half-time as his loan side came away with a point.

Elsewhere in Scotland, Declan Drysdale came off the bench in the 88th minute to help Ross County seal three points away from home against Dundee.

In League Two and Josh Pask returned from injury as Newport travelled to the league leaders Forest Green Rovers.

Newport eventually fell to defeat, but Pask played the full 90 minutes as he marked his return after missing out in the previous outings for his loan side.

In Germany and there was a competitive debut for Marcel Hilssner during FSV Zwickau's 2-0 defeat, with Marcel coming off the bench in the 62nd minute.

Finally, Jack Burroughs has been ruled out of action for Ross County for the next few weeks, and Danny Cashman wasn't involved with Rochdale.
