Over 1800 Sky Blues fans made the trip to Ashton Gate as Coventry City secured a superb 2-1 win over Bristol City.
Ian Maatsen opened the scoring in the first-half after a brilliant pass by Gus Hamer, but Bristol City equalised in the second half.
Though Chris Martin had scored for the hosts, it was no trouble for the visitors as Viktor Gyokeres put the Sky Blue Army in paradise after another magic assist from Hamer with clocks hitting the 89th minute.
It was no more than the travelling faithful deserved, with a superb following and vocal support for a long Tuesday trip.
