The EFL have confirmed that Peter Wright will act as referee for The Sky Blues' clash with Bristol City on Wednesday evening.
Mark Robins' side will take on the Robins in Carabao Cup action at the Pirelli Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.
Wright last took charge of a Sky Blues fixture during the 2018-19 season, when he oversaw a 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley.
He has been an EFL refere since 2018, prior to which he officiated in the National League.
Last season, Busby was appointed referee for 34 fixtures across League One, League Two and cup competiitons, awarding 106 yellow cards and four red cards.
He will be assisted by Stephen Wade and Anthony Da Costa, with Christopher Husband acting as his fourth official.
