Monday evening saw Coventry City host a Disabled Supporters Forum at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The meeting discussed improving the matchday experience for disabled supporters, including accessibility and ticketing, as well as the idea of launching a Disabled Supporters Association (DSA).
The meeting was attended by around 40 supporters.
The Sky Blues Supporter Services Officer Jodie Jones, who is the Club’s Disabled Liaison Officer, led the meeting alongside a representative from ‘Level Playing Field’ – the organisation which offers support, information and advice on a range of topics around disabled spectators access.
Jodie said:
“It was great to meet so many of our Disabled supporters at the Forum on Monday night.
“There was some good feedback for us as a Club and really engaging discussions around the matchday experience and also the Disabled Supporters Association concept, and we look forward to taking this forward.”
