Earlier this season City midfielder Jordan Shipley made his 150th appearance for the club in the Carabao Cup tie with Northampton Town at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Since progressing through the academy, the Leamington born midfielder has played his part in some memorable moments with the Sky Blues including being a part of two promotion winning squads!
And today we take a look at his landmark appearances in a City shirt…
1 – Walsall – April 2017
This match marks Shipley’s first team debut for the Sky Blues coming on in the 84th minute of a 1-0 win.
2 – Blackburn Rovers – August 2017
As a 19-year-old he is given his first start against Rovers in a League Cup tie.
9 – Luton Town – October 2017
Shipley comes on and scores his first goal for the club in a 3-0 win at Kenilworth Road.
11 – Lincoln City – November 2017
He is rewarded for his goal by starting his first league game, grabbing an assist as City win at Sincil Bank.
21 – Stoke City – January 2018
Shipley plays the full 90 minutes as then Premier League Stoke are knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round.
25 – Cambridge United – January 2018
Shipley marks his quarter of a century in Sky Blues colours by scoring in a 3-1 win over the U's.
38 – Cheltenham Town – April 2018
He scores for the first time in successive league games, netting the third, in a 6-1 rout at Whaddon Road, having scored against Luton in the previous fixture.
41 – Notts County – May 2018
Shipley starts both legs of the League Two Play-Off Semi-Final tie with Notts County, including the full 90 minutes at Meadow Lane as City win 4-1 to progress to Wembley!
42 – Exeter City – May 2018
The midfielder scores the second goal as the Sky Blues run out 3-1 winners under the arch to be promoted at the first attempt!
43 – Scunthorpe United – August 2018
Makes his first League One start in City’s first game of the season.
50 – Barnsley – September 2018
A 1-0 victory over the Tykes marks Shipley’s half century of appearances.
74 – Sunderland – April 2019
Scores the seventh goal in a nine-goal thriller at the Stadium of Light.
75 – Bradford City – April 2019
Shipley celebrates his 75th game for City with a 2-0 home win over the Bantams.
82 – Bristol Rovers – August 2019
He nets his tenth goal for Coventry in a 2-0 win over the Gas to continue an unbeaten start to the season.
100 – Sunderland – November 2019
Shipley hits a century of appearances for the club, playing the first 75 minutes, in a 1-1 draw on Wearside.
120 – Ipswich Town – March 2020
Comes on as a sub in a 1-0 win at Portman Road, in what is the last game before the League One title is confirmed.
122 – Bristol City – September 2020
He makes his Championship debut at Ashton Gate, featuring for the first 67 minutes.
127 – Swansea City – October 2020
Shipley scores his first goal in the second tier, providing the opener in a draw with the Swans.
149 – Millwall – May 2021
City end a successful season back in the Championship on a high with a 6-1 win over the Lions with Shipley scoring and assisting.
150 – Northampton Town – August 2021
Shipley joins the 150 club by starting against the Cobblers in City’s second game back in Coventry.
