NEWS: First batch of 'Ricoh Return' Membership shirts dispatched this week!

8 September 2021

Coventry City can confirm that the first ‘Ricoh Return’ Membership shirts will be dispatched this week!

Sky Blues supporters have previously been told to expect their shirts during September, with further dispatches of shirts at the end of this month.

The first shirts dispatched will be to the first 3000 supporters who ordered Medium or Large shirts, with other shirts and sizes (including mini-kits) sent in approximately three weeks.

The reason for this is due to a switch in production of shirts by our retail partner from a factory in Vietnam to one in China that produces shirts in this manner - this change of factory happening due to the escalation of COVID in Vietnam.

Coventry City will wear the shirt for a home game this season, but the players won’t wear shirt until all shirts that have been ordered now have been produced by our retail partner and dispatched to fans.

Fans will receive a dispatch e-mail when their shirt is sent – please do not contact the Club to chase delivery of your shirt.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:

“It’s great news that the first of the ‘Ricoh Return’ Membership shirts will be dispatched this week. It is another fantastic shirt created by Hummel, which will commemorate a historic season and the support shown by our fans.

“Shirts will be fulfilled as scheduled this month, with the second batch of shirts dispatched at the end of September to Ricoh Return Members that have placed their shirt order. We ask that supporters do not contact the Club to chase delivery of their shirts ahead of this taking place.

“Again COVID has caused challenges with production, but we’re pleased that our retail partner has been able to amend plans to ensure the shirts will be with fans as we anticipated.

“We look forward to fans receiving their shirts and the game, which will be announced in due course, when the players will wear the shirt too.”

Shirts will be sent Royal Mail signed for delivery.
