We take a look at how the players currently away from the Sky Blues have got on last Saturday.
In Sky Bet League Two, Danny Cashman started and played the opening hour of Rochdale’s match with Oldham Athletic at Spotland with his side going down 1-0 to a Davis Keillor-Dunn goal, that saw them fall to 11th in the table. The Dale are back in action on Saturday as they take a trip to West Yorkshire to face the side immediately below in the league Bradford City, with Cashman hoping for his fourth successive start.
Will Bapaga’s Grimsby Town are up to third in the National League table after they drew 1-1 at York Road against Maidenhead United. The Mariners took the lead when Erico Sousa found the back of the net with 17 to play but Kane Ferdinand earned the home side a point ten minutes later, with Bapaga an unused substitute. The Lincolnshire side will look to go top of the league with victory at Bromley tonight, with Bapaga hoping to feature.
Meanwhile in Lanarkshire Jack Burroughs played the full 90 in Ross County’s defeat at Motherwell on Saturday. The home side took the lead after two minutes through Callum Slattery but Burrough’s team equalised through Regan Charles-Cook just before half time, however Tony Watt won the points with ten minutes to go.
Meanwhile, young ‘keeper Tom Billson is continuing his recovery from a knee injury back at Sky Blue Lodge that he suffered on loan at Scunthorpe United on the opening day of the season.
