The Sky Blues made it five wins in a row at the Coventry Building Society Arena against Peterborough United on Friday night.
City broke the deadlock early on in the second half, when Gustavo Hamer calmly finished from close range to score his first goal of the season.
Then, a brace from Viktor Gyokeres finished the game off and added to his tally for the season, making seven in nine for the Swedish striker.
