29 October 2021

The EFL have confirmed that David Webb will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash with Hull City tomorrow afternoon.

Mark Robins side take on Hull City in Sky Bet Championship action at the MKM Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 3pm this Saturday.

It will be the first time that David Webb has taken charge of a game involving the Sky Blues since he took charge of City's 2-1 win against Reading at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

This year will mark Webb's 14th season as a referee in the Football League.

Webb has officiated 15 Sky Blues fixtures, with his most memorable being the 3-1 victory over Exeter City in the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium in May 2018.

With Webb in the middle, City have a record of:

Wins – 8
Draws – 3
Defeats – 4

So far this season, Webb has shown 56 yellow cards and one red card across 13 fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One, and EFL Cup.

Webb will be assisted by Steven Meredith and Michael George whilst Neil Hair will act as the fourth official.
