Coventry City striker Viktor Gyokeres has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for September.
The Swedish striker scored 5 times in the calendar month, with three of them breaking the deadlock in games.
Gyokeres netted in the wins over Middlesbrough, Cardiff and twice against Peterborough, as well as in the draw at Millwall.
The other nominations are:
- Ben Brereton-Diaz (Blackburn Rovers)
- Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham)
- John Swift (Reading)
The winner will be confirmed later this week.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
