Coventry City’s Junior Sky Blues Christmas Party will not be taking place this December.
Due to the continuing restrictions upon Sky Blues player appearances and the uncertainty for planning of large indoor events due to COVID, the JSB party will unfortunately not take place at its traditional December time.
It is with great sadness that we have had to come to this decision, which follows wider consultation and agreement with Family Zone volunteers and families.
With continuing uncertainty around COVID, it would not be possible to undertake the months of planning and the commitments that a JSB Party require.
Without the players present, the party would not be the same for our young supporters, who we know relish the chance to meet their heroes.
When the JSB Memberships went on sale at the start of this season, this postponement was a possibility and was referenced in Membership Packs, and the other JSB Membership benefits, such as ticketing and retail vouchers, were increased or added in anticipation of this to ensure that our Members still get great value and benefits in being a JSB.
We hope that we will be able to provide another event for Junior Sky Blues later in the season, but this will be subject to the restrictions at the time. We will communicate regarding this in due course.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“The JSB Party is a highlight of the season for the Club as a whole and for our young supporters.
“It is with great sadness that we have had to postpone the Party due to the current situation.
“We hope that it will be possible to put on another event for JSBs later in the season, subject to restrictions and circumstances at the time, and will let fans know one way or another about this in due course.”
Membership Packs
JSB Membership Packs have been dispatched for all supporters who bought a Membership prior to 11th October as part of our monthly mail outs.

JSB Christmas Cards
JSB Christmas Cards will be sent during December.
Fans are asked to ensure that their postal address details are up to date on eticketing.co.uk/CCFC or with the Ticket Office by Friday 26th November.
Mascots
We are still under EFL restrictions around access to players on matchdays and the red zone (the pitch), which would mean that mascots wouldn’t be able to meet players at all or warm up on the pitch etc.
This wouldn't be a good experience, so mascots continue to be unfortunately suspended.
When we are able to bring them back, firstly fans who had experience cancelled due to COVID in 19/20 will still get first choice, before it opens up to any other JSB Members.
