Saturday’s home game against Derby County will see the biggest crowd of the season at the Coventry Building Society Arena, and fans are being urged to get to the stadium early.
Sales, including away fans, for Saturday’s game currently stand at over 21,000, surpassing the previous high of 20,843 against Nottingham Forest in August.
With on the day sales, plus further sales on Friday, a bumper crowd is expected as Mark Robins’ side take on Derby County, making it City’s biggest Championship attendance since November 2010.

The Ticket Office opens from 9:30am on Saturday, while Turnstiles and Cash Turnstiles 30-37 open at 1:30pm.
Preparations are in place for the crowd expected, but the Sky Blues are advising fans to arrive early than usual, with the higher attendances this season increasing numbers through turnstiles, in car parks and on local roads.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“We have already passed our highest crowd so far this season, with more fans expected to buy between now and kick-off. It will be fantastic to see another big attendance at the Coventry Building Society Arena and I’m sure there will be another fantastic atmosphere.
“With the bigger attendances, we are urging supporters to plan to arrive early than they may have done in previous years.
“The turnstiles at the stadium can only safely admit so many people at a time, so if fans only arrive in the last 15 minutes before kick-off we, or any club or stadium, will struggle to get them in their seat ahead of kick-off, despite our best efforts.
“Our advice is for fans to get to the stadium as early as they are able to do so to help our logistics and your matchday experience, and help to build up the pre-match atmosphere ahead of the game.”
