BOYLE SPORTS: Punters Backing Sky Blues To Tame Tigers

29 October 2021

Coventry City’s promotion push in the Championship continues with the trip to Hull City on Saturday and punters are rallying behind Mark Robins’ men as they bid to get back to winning ways.

The Sky Blues go into the weekend in the play-off places while their opponents lie in the bottom three and BoyleSports have already had to clip the visitors into 11/8 from 8/5 to boost their promotion credentials with three points on the road.

While Saturday’s hosts are the lowest scorers in the league, Coventry have scored in all four of their matches this month with an average of two-per-game, so supporters can be hopeful of more as Viktor Gyokeres bids to add to a tally which sees only three players ahead of him in the Championship scoring charts.

The Swedish forward bagged two in the 4-1 victory over Fulham earlier this month and has been gambled into a hot 6/4 shot from 17/10 this week to add to his nine league goals so far. The goal threat doesn’t end there, as Tyler Walker has hit the net twice since that victory over Fulham and he is a 2/1 shot to make it three goals in three consecutive away games having scored against both Blackburn and Preston this month.

It was Matty Godden who was on the spot last time out against Derby and he is the 11/2 second favourite behind Gyokeres as the most likely candidate to break the deadlock and with goals in the side, it’s Coventry who are all the rage to get back on the coach with three crucial points in the chase for Premier League football.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: Punters are eyeing Saturday’s game as a huge opportunity for Coventry City and they are convinced there are goals on the menu with Gyokeres, Walker and Godden all attracting steady support. The Sky Blues are also cropping up in more and more accumulators this weekend and at 11/8 from 8/5 for the victory, confidence is high they will end the month with three more points in the bag.”
