Ahead of Saturday’s game against Bristol City in the Sky Bet Championship, the Sky Blues have produced a matchday guide for fans attending the game.
The Sky Bet Championship game is a 3pm kick-off at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
A crowd of around 19,000 is expected, and fans are advised to arrive early and not leave it to the last minute to enter the stadium.
The game is a Category B fixture - tickets are priced Adults £25, Concessions £20, Under 18s £15, JSB U16s £10, JSB U13s £0.
We expect cash turnstiles to be busy and we therefore also advise fans to arrive early when buying on the gate.
COVID Advice and Protocols
Coventry City issued updated COVID Advice and Protocols for fans at the start of the season – this continues to apply for all our home games.
To summarise:
- Before you come to the game, we encourage fans to take a lateral flow test. This is not compulsory but would hopefully reduce the risk of transmission in the stadium.
- All fans are encouraged to wear face masks when at games - particularly when entering the stadium and walking around the concourse, as these are busy areas.
- We also encourage fans to continue social distancing wherever possible.
- There are increased hygiene measures, and fans are encouraged to wash their hands.
- In accordance with the current Government and EFL regulations, there is currently no requirement to provide proof of double vaccination to enter the stadium.

Currently, players are not appearing in the Family Zone or Lounges as part of our COVID protocols. We politely request that fans do not ask players/staff for selfies either inside or outside the stadium.
Fans are allowed to bring in their own small hand sanitiser with them to the game.
Buying tickets on matchday
Saturday’s game is a Category B fixture – tickets are priced Adults £25, Concessions £20, Under 18s £15, JSB U16s £10, JSB U13s £0.
Tickets will be available to buy from the Ticket Office at the Coventry Building Society Arena, which opens at 9:30am on Saturday and will be open up until kick-off. This is cashless.
Sky Blues fans can buy at Cash Turnstiles 30 – 37 (shown below) from 1:30pm. There is no matchday price increase. We advise fans to arrive at least 15 minutes before kick-off when buying at Cash Turnstiles due to high demand.

Ticket Collections and Queries
Any ticket collections and queries for Sky Blues fans can be made at the Ticket Office from 9:30am on Saturday.
Bristol City supporters can collect pre-purchased tickets from the away ticket collection booth at the rear of the South Stand.
Season Tickets
Any Season Ticket holders who have not received their card can arrange a paper ticket for the game. Please visit the Ticket Office to collect your ticket.
Any new Season Tickets purchased from Tuesday 2nd November will require a paper ticket due to production time of Season Ticket cards.

Remembrance
Saturday is our Remembrance fixture and we will be honouring our Armed Forces past and present.
There is a minute's silence before kick-off, with Standard Bearers from our Armed Forces as well as a bugler playing the Last Post.
Players will wear poppy shirts, there will be special programme and scoreboard contents, plus collectors will be around the ground raising money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Half-Time Activities:
As well as Sky Blue Sam parading the pitch, we will be hearing from Exhall middleweight Boxing ace and Sky Blues fan River Wilson-Bent ahead of his latest bout, when he challenges for the English Middleweight title against Rowley Regis rival Tyler Denny at the SkyDome on 13th November.
Club Shop
The Club Shop, in the South-East corner of the stadium, will be open from 9:30am until kick-off on Saturday, and then again for an hour post-match. This is cashless. All of this season’s kits are in stock and available to buy!

Due to the recent increase of our attendances, we are having to close access to Car Park B from one hour before kick-off to ensure pedestrian safety on internal roads at the stadium. If you have booked in this area please arrive prior to this time to gain entry. Thank you for your co-operation.
Please note that the exit directly on to Jimmy Hill Way/the A444 will be used on Saturday post-match for vehicles in Car Park B. In all car parks, please follow the instructions of the car park stewards.

Bars and Kiosks, including the new Anecdote Bar
All Bars and Kiosks at the Arena are also now cashless – cash payment is not accepted.
Additional catering will again be open on the East Stand forecourt for supporters. Fans will be able to use these pre-match and at half-time – however please note that alcoholic drinks purchased at the outside catering units pre-match must be consumed outside and not taken inside the stadium. At half-time, alcoholic drinks purchase outside will be able to be taken inside.
The Anecdote Bar at the stadium will also be open for Sky Blues fans only, both pre-match and after the game with a range of food and drink available.
In hospitality areas, additional bars will again be open for supporters in the Legends Lounge and Level One Lounge.
Sky Blue Tavern and Dhillon’s Brewery Fan Zone
The Sky Blue Tavern in Coventry city centre will be open from Midday on Saturday.
Coventry's newest sports bar the Sky Blue Tavern is located at Hertford Place, near Junction 7 of Coventry Ring Road, at the old Dragon Phoenix/Feast Junction building. The Tavern has a Sky Blues theme, with historic images and memorabilia throughout the two-story building, and is the place to go for Sky Blues supporters. For info visit www.skybluetavern.com
A shuttle bus is available to book from the Tavern over to Dhillon’s Brewery, near to the Arena – with a drink or food option included.
Meanwhile the Fan Zone at Dhillon’s Brewery will be open from 11am on Saturday at Unit 14A Hales Industrial Estate, Rowley’s Green Lane (CB6 6AT) – a short walk from the Coventry Building Society Arena.
It has been completely refurbished and now includes a 20-foot TV screen, new indoor bar and a covered outdoor seating with room for hundreds of Sky Blues fans. DJ Big Smithy, made famous from our time groundsharing at St Andrew’s, is there too to help create a fantastic pre-match atmosphere, while there are plenty of food options as well!
Programme
Matchday Programme PUSB will be available around the ground for £3 – this is cash and card payment.

Away fans are located in the South Stand. Tickets are available to purchase at Cash Turnstiles from 1:30pm. Food and Drink kiosks in the South Stand are cashless.

Defibrillators
Following recent events, we felt it was important to highlight to fans the locations of defibrillators within the Stadium Bowl area for fans. A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it's an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who’s in cardiac arrest.
These are clearly only for use in an emergency, but can prove vital for fans who suffer a cardiac arrest. There is also extensive medical and first-aid provision at matches.
