LOAN WATCH: Bapaga and Burroughs in action

We take a look at how the players currently away from the Sky Blues have got on this weekend.

With it being the international break only Will Bapaga was in club action this week with his side going down 2-1 at the Recreation Ground to Aldershot Town.

The City youngster entered the action in the 68th minute after Tommy Willard had opened the scoring for the Shots before Harry Clifton headed in an equaliser.

Alfy Whittingham scored what turned out to be the winner on the hour mark to leave Bapaga’s side third in the National League.

Danny Cashman’s Rochdale were also in action however the forward missed their 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient through injury.

Alex Newby scored in the first and last minute for Dale with Aaron Drinan and Craig Clay’s goals earning the O’s a point at Spotland to leave Rochdale 13th in Sky Bet League Two.

Jack Burroughs was on international duty on Friday night, coming on for the final 11 minutes of Scotland Under 21’s 2-1 victory over Kazakhstan at Tannadice.

Lewis Florini and Glenn Middleton scored the goals for the home side before Maxim Samorodov halved the deficit with 19 minutes to go.

Finally, ‘keeper Tom Billson continues his rehabilitation after injuring his knee for Scunthorpe United in August.
