We are delighted to confirm that Goalkeeper Cian Tyler has agreed a new deal!
The 19 year-old, who rose through the Sky Blues Academy, will extend his stay until the summer of 2023.
Tyler signed his first professional contract with the club in 2020, after impressing during his rise through the Academy.
Tyler has been an ever-present in the Under-23s impressive Professional Development League campaign this season, with City currently sitting 1st in the Northern section, five points clear at the top.
The 'keeper has been a key figure in the Goalkeeping department during the course of the season, travelling to home and away matchdays to help-out during the warm-ups, as he works alongside Simon Moore and Ben Wilson.
Speaking after agreeing his new deal, Cian had this to say:
“I'm really happy. It's been a great season for me so far, I'm playing regularly for the Under-23s and we're winning games.
“My first team involvement has picked up as well so I'm travelling to a lot more games with the team which is great.
“I put in the work at the lodge every day with Aled and the other Goalkeepers, so it's nice to see that reflecting in my performances and for the club to recognise that and offer me a new contract.”
