Coventry City resume their Championship campaign in Saturday's early kick-off and are coming in for support to continue their promotion push with all three points on the road against Sheffield United.
The high flying Sky Blues went into the international break on a high after a thrilling encounter with Bristol City, who led twice against ten men before Matt Godden swooped with his second injury time winner of the season, leaving Mark Robins' men sitting in fourth position in the table after 17 matches.
That has seen their pre-season promotion odds of 12/1 crash into 11/2 with BoyleSports as they seek to boost their Premier League credentials with their second consecutive away win in the division.
It was an early Matt Godden goal which secured maximum points against Hull on their last road trip and he is being well backed to continue a hot scoring streak which has seen him find the net five times in his last five appearances, including the brace against the Robins last time out.
He has shortened into 7/1 from 15/2 to open the scoring at Bramall Lane, while the chances of him taking his season tally to seven at any time during the 90 minutes have also been backed down to 9/4 from 5/2.
Coventry are now 14/5 shots from 10/3 at the start of the week to get back on the coach with all three points, which would catapult them, temporarily at least, to third place in the Championship standings.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Coventry City have been one of the revelations in the Championship this season and they’re being well backed again this week to cement their position in the play-off places. That has forced us down to 14/5 from 10/3 about an away win on Saturday, with Matt Godden increasingly popular in the goalscoring markets given his red hot form before the international break.”
